There are objects that aren't just objects. They are witnesses, symbols, pieces of history that beat. For the premiere of "Maradona: Blessed Dream," we imagined a ball that isn't played—it's kept, it's honored. Inspired by the legendary Azteca from the '86 World Cup, we designed a limited series of 10 modified balls, each segment depicting a scene, a glory, a wound suffered by Diego.
Hand-screened on white leather, the balls feature illustrations that recount his life as if it were an eternal match. The ritual was completed with screen-printed cardboard packaging, a replica of his '86 jersey, the captain's armband, and illustrated postcards. Ten relics traveled to the hands of influencers and personalities to announce the series premiere and pay tribute to the man who turned the ball into an altar.
